The Salone del Mobile.Milano exhibitors are back after a pandemic-induced hiatus, eager to commemorate the 60th edition with intricate, organized stands that embody all of the brands’ identities and characteristics. The International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition promises to be interesting during this Milan Design Week. This exhibit presents the very newest in contemporary living: a changed, different, comfortable, conscious, and enthusiastic way of inhabiting our houses

Design Voices is a place to narrate and challenge creativity in contemporary design. iSaloni desires to offer different perspectives and ideas to its public with this event. DAAILY PLATFORM is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and invites you over at the DAiIly BAR will have hourly Live TALKS with worldwide speakers from the realms of design, art, and architecture, who will share insights into current work and developments (ArchDaily).
This year is very dear to the brand Louis Vuitton. Indeed, it celebrates its 10-year anniversary with two new additions to the Objets Nomades collections, as well as a large variety of recent and vintage pieces. These objects will be the stars of the fifth edition of the show in the Garage Traversi venue where the brand will be located.
PRADA FRAMES will host its first edition at in the spaces of the Biblioteca Nazionale Braidense of Milan and it promises a great show that will explore the relationship between nature and design. Lectures, discussions, conversations, and video projections will be held twice a day, with participation from Amitav Ghosh, Eyal Weizman, Anna Tsing and the Feral Atlas, Paola Antonelli, Alice Rawsthorn, Paulo Tavares, Andrés Jaque, and Valerie Trouet.
Every year at Milan Design Week, HERMÈS unveils its new home collections at La Pelota Jai Alai, an indoor sports center in the heart of Brera. The immersive exhibits take guests on a journey through the latest creations of the French fashion brand, bouncing between tradition and innovation. A unique event that you must attend at La Pelota, Via Palermo,10.
The HOUSE OF BMW will be transformed during this Milan design week into a hub for discussion between people, art, and technology. For the Salone del Mobile design fair, designer and artist Mike Meiré is presenting a program of installations, performances, workshops, and discussion forums. If you’re looking for something original and out of the box, TOOGOOD X CARHARTT WIP AT SPAZIO MAIOCCHI is for you! The introduction of Toogood x Carhartt WIP’s clothing collaboration, which includes new furniture and an exclusive glimpse of Faye Toogood’s new book, is heralded by giant puppets traveling from London to Milan. Their installation at Spazio Maiocchi explores the collaboration’s evolution and interventions, as well as the businesses’ shared design ideals and love for well-made, long-lasting apparel.
FORNASETTI presents The Garden of Possible Natures, a new line of furniture and upholstered items intended exclusively for outdoor usage, in honor of Milan Design Week 2022. Open-air dining rooms are created by seats and tables, while living rooms are created by sofas and armchairs that are ready to be submerged in greenery. It will be exhibited at their flagship store in Corso Venezia. The sculptures will be on show in the three-story store, which is worth a visit in and of itself. The inside is designed in the Fornasetti style and may be explored room by room, with each one painted a different color to showcase the contents like a treasure trove.
Mathieu Lehanneur exhibited State of the World at Art Basel 2021, an installation that turned the Earth’s shifting demographics into sculptural objects. This year at Milan Design Week, he continues on this search with a solo project named The Inventory of Life at Triennale Milano. The purpose is to look into the state of the globe while also acknowledging the fragility and transience of human existence, as well as the long-term environmental damage caused by climate change, with a special focus on rising sea levels and marine ecosystems.
