The September edition of Maison Et Object will have four new stands. Living by François Bernard in Hall 2, Share by François Delclaux in Hall 3, Care by Elizabeth Leriche in Hall 4 and WORK! by Chantal Hamaide in Hall 6.
Confronted with stereotypical mass decoration trends, François Bernard wanted to experiment in newer, more distinctive and emerging creative directions. He explores three aspects of this elegant trend – Modern Living, Sculptural Living and Soft Living – and also their main influences.
For François Delclaux, tableware has got a new lease of life thanks to the hotel and restaurant industry, one in which it is possible to bend the rules, in both a minimalist and maximalist direction.
Comfort is ideally expressed in bedrooms and bathrooms, there are four facets presented: functionality in Simply Together; natural materials in Mediterranean Craft; nature in Deep Nature; and finally urban sophistication in City Elegance.
According to Chantal Hamaide, the connected society and new working practices are fashioning a connected nomadic lifestyle that relies on objects. Four words illustrate this trend: connectivity, comfort, usage and mobility.
