Cologne Cathedral is a Roman Catholic Cathedral in Koelnmesse, Germany. It is a renowned monument of German Catholicism and Gothic architecture that was declared a World Heritage Site in 1996. It is the Germany’s most visited landmark.
The Hohenzollern Bridge is a bridge crossing the river Rhine. Originally, the bridge was both a railway and street bridge, however, after its destruction in 1945 and its subsequent reconstruction, it was only accessible to rail and pedestrian traffic. It is the most heavily used railway bridge in Germany.
KölnTriangle is a 103.2 metres tall building in Deutz, Cologne, and a prominent landmark in Cologne. Its south facade consists of a double-facade, allowing natural ventilation even at high floors. Next to the high-rise structure, part of KölnTriangle is also a much larger 6-storey office block with a total gross floor area of 84.300 m².
KölnTriangle is headquarters of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The top floor and roof house a publicly accessible observation deck with panorama views all over Cologne, in particular, Cologne Cathedral, directly opposite the Rhine.
During World War II approximately 72 percent of the city area of Cologne was destroyed. The city centre, full of rubble, resembled a horrible battlefield – the picturesque part of the Old Town was destroyed nearly completely and had to be rebuilt in drudgingly precious work.
The Rhine panorama of the Old Town with the Cathedral, the Roman church Great St. Martin and the historical Town Hall has become quite popular around the world over the years. A stroll through the narrow, cobble-stoned alleys will take you back to times long ago.
It is a special and familiar space too. If it had living room rugs, living room area rugs or dining room rugs it would seem a real living room or dining room on the street. Everyone feels invited to enter into this place. So, it is also a fluffy place that inspires! The sidewalk could inspire a designer to create a cosmopolitan wool rugs category. Don’t you agree? The Stadtwald forest in the borough of Lindenthal belongs to the so-called “Äußerer Grüngürtel”, the outer green belt. In 1895, the forest was first planted on the premises of the former Kitschburg manor. It was later extended by several parks. Boasting three artificial ponds, the Stadtwald forest is very popular for its enchanting ambience and healthy relaxation. It forest shows nature in its pure state every corner! It seems to be part of the Brabbu brand inspiration because of the nature imperfection, i. e., nature in his brute state. This brand will be present at IMM2018 with new pieces.
