This beautiful Victorian house was turned into a luxurious abode by a full restoration of both interiors and exteriors. Pivot to this design is an open floor plan that joins the kitchen, dining and living room areas, that share a vibrant palette of turquoise and chocolate contrasting with the white walls. These are tied together in a rug by Greg Natale for Designer Rugs.
This 1940s duplex house was reconfigured from a series of apartments into one family house. A sense of grandiosity of proportion has been achieved by lowering the lounge and dining rooms and connecting them to a sunken front courtyard. A neutral palette of blacks, whites and greys get the occasional pop of blue, red and orange colours.
This beautiful house has been furnished with navy plaids and stripes, walnut-hued timbers and leathers to create the effect of a lavish country estate. Themed accessories and artworks together with accoutrements contribute to the full layered feel, whilst the items blend perfectly to create Western styling with Eastern exoticism.
This residence has stone has the main protagonist: a wall of concrete blocks on the outside is featured on a wall in the living room area, connecting both spaces – the outside and the inside. A charcoal and white carpet by Greg Natale for Designer Rugs feature the house’s monochrome palette at a softer level.
The starting point for the home’s renovation was the owner’s much loved, twenty-year-old Italian dining table and chairs. The strength in the tone of the cherrywood inspiring a subdued palette, balanced with dove greys and bursts of malachite green. Tan leather and graphic Greg Natale rugs serve as accent accessories and contribute to the cohesive result.
Greg Natale embraced his roles of architect, builder, interior designer and client to create a detailed renovation of a building in Sydney’s Surry Hills to create a new headquarters for his firm. The result was an office with a residential feel, with inviting sofas, bookshelves, whilst also feeling like a studio, with its brickwork and exposed beams.
This award-winning project was renovated to create lavish and layered interiors filled with colour and glamour. Drawing inspiration from the vivid greens the client wanted, Greg Natale added warm golden tones from the travertine floors and the abundance of natural light to develop a design that brings the luxury of the Los Angeles style to the Sydney shores.
