This yearly design event agenda for 2022 appears to be more filled with fascinating trade shows and exhibitions after two years of cancellations and postponements. We understand that staying on top of what’s going on can be difficult, so here are a few trade exhibitions to keep an eye on in the coming months.
The interiors sector is always changing, innovative, vibrant, and fast-paced and it is at iSaloni where you can find out what is trending in the world of interior design. The goal of Salone del Mobile is to promote the best furniture solutions; to that end, the iSaloni Fair brings together over 2 000 exhibitors to show off their outstanding products for the best high-end contemporary living.
Rug Society will be present this year at iSaloni from June 7th to June 12th next to BRABBU and Home Society at pavilion 3 stand D18 to D20. Maison Valentina will be present too but at the Pavillion 22, stand F20.
The iSalon is an international platform that uses the “privilege of actuality” to showcase the status of design. Let’s see what the rest of the year has in store!
While iSaloni is one of the most well-known international trade shows but it isn’t the only one we are expecting this spring. There are a lot more happening that you might not know about.
DOMOTEX Asia also known as CHINAFLOOR is the world’s second-biggest flooring trade shows and the largest in Asia-Pacific. Over 66,000 industry specialists from 107 countries, including emerging Asian markets, attend the event each year to sell their flooring products, develop collaborations, discover suppliers and manufacturers, and network with industry leaders.
The DOMOTEX trade show, now in its 23rd edition and has established itself as the main commercial platform for the global flooring industry. The 24th edition will be held in Shanghai from May 25 to 27, 2022. What started off as a small trade exhibition has developed into the world’s fastest-growing flooring trade show.
INDEX is one of the most popular and largest trade shows when it comes to furniture in the region of Mena. This is one of those tradeshows that has a bit of everything. It connects regional hotel, residential, commercial, and retail buyers with the best brands and suppliers from across the world. The event has been hosted in Dubai since 1991, and each year it draws thousands of trade visitors, making it the largest single trading and networking event on the Middle Eastern A&D calendar.
Design Miami/, which runs concurrently with Art Basel, has established itself as the primary event for collecting, showing, discussing, and developing collectible design. For the 16th edition of Design Miami/ Basel, the event will be held in Basel, Switzerland. The festival will take place from June 14 to June 19, 2022. Design Miami/ is more than just a design show; it’s a museum-quality exhibition of twentieth and twenty-first century furniture, lighting, and objets d’art presented by the world’s finest galleries.
To finish off, there is the Cover Connect Trade Show which will be held in The Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan from September 11 to 13, 2022. This event focuses on keeping up with international trends, products, and advances in handcrafted indoor carpets and textiles. It features remarkable aesthetic traits, creative but polished design and production processes, and is one of the world’s most inspiring interiors.
