Salone del Mobile 2019 – What’s In?

Salone del Mobile 2019 is showing us some of the best designers and brands since 1961. It’s one of the best leading events in the whole world and it’s crucial to show international interior design trends. This year it happens between 9^th and 14^th April. Let’s take a look at the most relevant brands!

First we need to take a look in the event itself. Over the years it’s clear that more designers and brands are coming to the show! Nowadays it’s not only to show the new designers of Milan, but also to show what’s been being done in the world. This is now one of the best events in the interior design area!

Armani is a brand that doesn’t need presentation! Armani is a well-known Italian design company created by Giorgio Armani in 1975. This year all the eyes will be on the exclusive event dedicated to all of Armani’s design.

B&B Italia is one of the leading italian companies in the international world of designer furniture. Its furniture collection is contemporary.Their pieces are both for home and contract.

Fendi Casa is an Italian luxurious furniture brand. On last edition of Milan Design Week, they presented a brand new collection designed by Thierry Lemaire. Its catalogue contains furnishings for every area, seamlessly integrating modern advancements with retro details.

Luxury Living is a brand that never misses Milan Design Week! This is the owner of so many well-known brands such as Fendi Casa or Bentley Home. This top brand will present some of the finest furniture ever!

ARMANI/CASA, or as it’s known Armani Home, is an important presence in Milan with the museum, boutique, concept store and hotel. All of this spots should be visited by the ones who love design!

Cassina is a brand that was managed to create a strong presence in Milan. Patricia Urquiola establisished the perfect spot for it showroom, that has more than 50 years.

Molteni is one of the largest design showrooms in Milan. It’s known by its spatial experience, materials and lighting that were deliberately design to offer an involving experience to everyone who visits it.

Nilufar Gallery in Via della Spiga was a big step for Nina Yashar, one of the Milan’s top design dealer. It’s now pusled as the epicenter of the hottest comtemporary designs for the last two decades! Inspired by La Scala opera house with special touch of several vintages and colorful design elements.

And then you ask yourself: what’s about to come at 2019 edition? Some of the details are being released, however we can give only some of the main highlights.

This year’s edition will be celebrating DaVinci’s 500^th anniversary of death. The fair organizers have two installations planned to celebrate his life and legacy.

If you are going to Salone del Mobile you can expect to find a range of displays that pay tribute to Renaissance ideas incorporationg with modern design. It’s also expected a “S Project”, that will be a new display format expected to bring tohether multiple brands and products into one space.
